Watersports

The Carsington Sports and Leisure centre offers sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing, with lessons and equipment hire for all abilities.

Walking and Cycling

An 8-mile circular trail loops around the reservoir, suitable for both walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired on-site.

Fishing

Well-stocked with trout and pike, Carsington Water offers fishing permits from the visitor centre, along with guidance on local regulations.

Bird hides and the Wildlife Discovery Room give opportunities to spot seasonal species, from ospreys to wading birds.
